Me and my now ex girlfriend live about an hour away from each other. Yet, we are both 15 and don't have our licenses until next summer. So we could only see each other once every 2 weeks or so. My girlfriend said that she misses me too much between the times we hang out, so she broke up with me. This is only temporary though, as we have discussed the fact that we will be together next summer at the overnight summer camp that we both go to, and after that when we get home because we will then have our licenses. Yet for now, we are broken up.

I am very sad though. I know I'm only 15, but this girl was special. If love is real, I'm positive that we felt it for each other. We've dated the last 4 summers, and we lost our virginity to each other.

I don't know what to do. Because when we were together, we would text all day long, and then video chat for ours on end through the night. In one day, we've gone from being in constant contact to having no contact at all.

I know people are going to say "there's no reason in getting so upset about one girl", but this girl was very special to me. Neither of us are going to date other people, but we will both probably hook up with other people. But that's just a meaningless action.

I need help getting over her though, just to get by until next summer. I hate sitting in my house watching TV or just going on the computer because it's so depressing. I've been crying a little and I've had a lot of mood swings.

I tried to ease some of the pain last night by going to my first party, and I got really drunk. It was fun and I was happy and I didn't care about my ex for the whole night. Then I wake up today and I'm still depressed. I can't just go out of the house to do stuff because I don't have drivers license and everything is farther than biking distance.

How do I get out of this depression?

How long have you been broke up and how long had you been dating? It doesn't go away overnight. Going to parties and getting drunk is dumb and can cause you to do really stupid stuff you will end up regretting, not to mention the fact that you are under age.
Go to school meet new people and get a social life. After a while you will be fine.
