The red ink has lightened up because you expose it to the sun...
You need to put a sun block on it to help keep its rich color.

Lol, I just copied his picture, put it into paint shop pro and drew an eagle over it...
Drawing with a lap top pad thingy is really hard! Lol

Thank you :) Its good to think about it. My fist tatt (the star), I thought about it for 2 years, I started with a smal one because I was scared of the pain, but it was okay. It took like 20 minutes. LOL the mermaid took like 2 hours, kind of painful when he tattooed across the boney part of my back :p still worth it though :D (lol my superhero is on my thigh, right above my knee. I actually laughed out loud several times because it tickled :rolleyes:

I like your idea though. Sounds like an elegant thing. ;)

As for the color comment; yeah sunblock is a good idea, to keep the color. It might also be the light from the camera that makes the color look more pinkish, instead of red.

Here is an overlay of a celtic skull on his bunny, it can be little bigger and turned into a full arm ban tattoo.

Nice work with the drawing program... yah, I imagine a good artist could "touch it up a bit";)

I guess it would be a red eagle of some sort... possibly colors darker than red could go over portions of it.

Wow... that's pretty cool... not sure about the skull, but the idea of a red/tribal thingie working the same lines as the bunny is good.

So what I hear so far is that the answer to my questions is 'No'... girls tend not to like playboy bunny tattoos on guys. Then there were several answers about coverups, and this on is a good example to start on.

I don't think that pin-ups are necessarily too girly... but in general you should take something that you like, the type of style you have/want to go for... something that fits you... have you considered going into a shop and ask for ideas ? They might be able to show you the type of stuff they do and might have some rad ideas... and of course you should look into a ful sleeve only if you want it ;) hehe might be a bit excruciating other wise. And even a bit too much depending on your personal style etc.

Seriously you could just get a sleeve done and incorporate the bunny into man different pictures on your arm like every one said just get it covered that's your best opption, and if girls walk away from a nice guy like you then that's there problem not yours! The fact that you got a tat done just for your girlfriend its great just maybe the wrong choice!!
