    Getting over my boyfriend's past
    I've been dating my boyfriend for over a year. He's amazing and I'm absolutely in love with him. The trouble for me is that he was married before. Although he has moved on, I still feel nervous that I won't ever compare to his ex. I've spoken to him about this and he told me that it is over for him and that I am very different so a comparison isn't really relevant. So now it's up to me to let it go. I really want to, but I have no idea how to do this. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it an issue of insecurity, jealousy? I'm not sure. All I know is that I'm tired of dealing with this and really don't want to think about it anymore.

    You don't compare, ever, you are different, Have you had old boyfriends, old lovers, do you want him to compare hisself to them.

    If you are having trouble, get counseling to help you feel better about yourself.

    Sounds like you may be making a mountain out of a mole hill.
    Does he bring her up now? Does he compare you to her now?
    Remember she is his ex and very likely for good reason.
    You need to leave it go and work on the relationship you and he have.
