Customer service doesn't call me back
I can't find an appropriate category for my question... I bought Barilla sauce and
Served five people ravoli with this sauce (I've been using it for years). Everyone
Agreed it tasted like, and smelled like a cleansing agent. I had to throw it away
(I kept the jar) and order two pizzas ($30)... I called the number on the website
That says customer service. It was misleading.. they just sell for the company
But they gave me their number. I called it. You never get to talk to anyone... just
Leave your number and why you called... and they promise to get back to you in
Three days... it's four days now, no call. I just left another message. How else
    Can I find their number?

Call the original number you called and speak to a real supervisor and ask them for the phone number to the company. If I remember correctly though, Barilla is manufactured over in Italy but is obviously distributed here in the US.

If you are looking to get your $30 for pizza back, don't bother pursuing this as you probably will only get an apology and probably some coupons for more Barilla sauce instead.

I recently bought some frozen chicken pieces and while cooking them they reeked so much of a cleaning agent I threw the whole mess out. This can happen sometimes with food that is commercially prepared - the cleaning agent is not properly rinsed out and some remains.

As long as no one got ill, you can keep calling them up and pesterig the original company until someone spills the company's phone number or address to write to. Or ask for an email address at Barilla and see how far you can get with that.

It was probably a fluke that you got the jar of sauce that was contaminated with the cleaning agent. Things like that happen all the time.

Glad you finally got through to them and got some coupons. Most companies these days don't want to lose any customers so they will gladly send coupons.

Your quite right to call them up, I think it's important that people complain about things when they aren't right, especially foodstuff.

Although do you think that Durex will send me some more condoms for the invisiable one I received?! Lol just a sealed packet with nothing in it! Lol,that one must have been for the invisable man! ;)
