When will Kam articulate a policy ?
So far she is getting a pass . I listened all week (have not heard her acceptance of the imaculation from last night .For some reason everyone thinks that people in the east can stay up all night) . But I expect it was a combination of Trump=bad / hopey 'changy(even though they have been in charge for 12 of the last 16 years ) /joy. Like the emperor ,she is the aspirational candidate .....fill in the blanks . Forget what she said in the past .Forget that she was in the shotgun seat as Joe drove the nation over the cliff.
It is a strange thing the role reversal this campaign. The VEEP candidates are having policy debates and articulating the huge gap in each side's vision of America ; and the Presidential candidate are playing the attack dog roles. There are only a couple of weeks before early voting begins (how stupid are we ?) . Maybe Kam can skate and rely on the acolytes at ABC to give cover during the debate.
.Sooner or later, I have to assume she will articulate some kind of vision or original thought on policy. She will presumably propose something of substance, solutions to the issues facing the country. One cannot campaign on “vibes” alone…or can one?

If Kam can't come up with her own policies she is not shy in borrowing Trump's.

Kam is trying to weasel out of the one debate she agreed to do . It is arranged to be hosted by compliant press rep ABC scheduled for Sept 10 ;only days before absentee ballots and early voting begins .(swing state NC Sept 6)
Both Trump and Kam agreed to the rules that were used in the CNN Trump Clueless Joe debate . That included muting the microphone of the candidate who was not asked the question. Kam has determined that arrangement benefited Trump because it forced him to be more disciplined. What Kam wants is for Trump to interrupt her because it feeds into her narrative that he is a misogynistic bully. She wants those c/p sound bites where she shows how tough she is when she admonishes him for interruptions . So she is asking for a change in the rules ;and the compliant press is reporting it as if he is the one waffling . She has already made history as the first woman, the first African American and the first Asian American ever to serve as vice president, but she has still struggled to define her role much beyond that legacy.
But the painful reality for Ms. Harris is that in private conversations over the last few months, dozens of Democrats in the White House, on Capitol Hill and around the nation — including some who helped put her on the party’s 2020 ticket — said she had not risen to the challenge of proving herself as a future leader of the party, much less the country.
