There is a scandal going on in Florida that is seriously affecting his government and his ability to lead the state . There is a full fledged rebellion against him in the Repub led state Senate.

At issue is a potential corruption scandal involving diverting Medicaid settlement funds to a charity managed by his wife Casey DeSantis .

A Medicaid provider over billed to the tune of $67 million. The state retrieved the money from the provider . But it skimmed $10 million from the settlement and sent it to the charity.

DeSantis claimed the $10 million was a charitable contribution on top of the settlement.

His opponents claim Hope Florida then diverted the money to two political groups favored by DeSantis.

There has been finger pointing and the Senate has opposed some of his agenda since.

His opponents are pushing for a Federal probe.
