Judge James Boasberg DC Dist Court "randomly " assigned a case against Trump again
His name keeps coming up . Back in 2020 he was the judge who gave Russiagate former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith a slap on the wrist after he plead guilty to altering an email evidence that was submitted to the FISA court to justify surveillance of Trump. He gave him probation.

Then he was the judge who recently tried to stop the transfer of illegal alien gangbangers to an El Salvador prison.

So now he got "randomly selected " to be the judge in a lawsuit by American Oversight ;a "non-profit watchdog group " against the Trump team in what is now called "Signal-gate" .

He ordered that the team preserve all their emails

The deportation case is going to go to SCOTUS as the Court of Appeals refused to stirke down the judges order against deportations under the Alien Enemies Act.

The judge was sensitive enough about the coincidence of his "random" selection to the case that he spoke on the record about it.

“I’ve come to understand that some questions have been raised regarding this Court’s random assignment system,” the judge said. “So given the public interest that’s involved in cases that have been filed in this court, I thought it might be useful to briefly explain it on the record.”

Boasberg went on to explain that all judges are randomly assigned cases in order for them to be relatively spread out evenly across multiple categories such as antitrust, federal records acts and employment matters.
“That’s how it works, and that’s how all cases continue to be assigned in this court,” he said.

About those randomly assigned judges to Trump cases ; Beth Brelje of the Federalist observes that 5 of the 15 judges on the DC court were born outside the US .All 5 of those foreign-born judges somehow managed to get selected to rule on Trump cases All 5 had no experience as a judge before being appointed to the DC district court .

A Third Of All DC District Judges Are Foreign Born

There are 10 older more experienced judges in the district who rarely end up on cases about Trump.

Take Judge Chutkan as an example. She was born in Kingston Jamacia .She was appointed by the emperor . She now presides over the legal challenge to DOGE. As you recall she also would've put Trump in jail given the time and the outcome of the election. She presided over The Jack Smith's persecution of Trump over January 6.riot .
