Congressman admits that Dems ran trojan horse campaign in 2006
Congressman Paul Kanjorski (D-PA) admits, on camera, that the Democrats "stretched the facts" about their capability of ending the war in Iraq and that anybody that "was a good student of Government" would have known it wasn't true but the "temptation to want to win back the Congress" made them stretch the facts and "people ate it up."

YouTube - Rep. Kanjorski admits the Democrats Over-Promised on Iraq=

"I'll tell you my impression. We really in this last election, when I say we...the Democrats, I think pushed it as far as we can to the end of the fleet, didn't say it, but we implied it. That if we won the Congressional elections, we could stop the war. Now anybody was a good student of Government would know that wasn't true. But you know, the temptation to want to win back the Congress, we sort of stretched the facts...and people ate it up."

No wonder Cindy Sheehad and the Code Pinkos are so upset with the Dems! But what will the anti-war Dems do about it ? My guess is that they will grin and bear it in November ,and vote the Dems who lied to them back in. But it could make for an interesting time in Denver this August .

Well now, it's refreshing to see a dose of honesty. I wonder if he'll admit the Dems are lying to get elected now?

Speaking of an interesting time in Denver, there's a split in the protest crowd. Tent State University is severing ties with Re-create 68 because they "don't feel that Re-create 68 is working well with the anti-war left."

R-68 organizer Glenn Spagnuolo says "This is typically what happens when you have these conservative liberal groups who come in and pressure the smaller groups with their resources."

Spagnuolo declined to define "conservative liberal groups."
