In his first term Trump did more for prison reform than any of his predecessors. One of the people he commuted the sentence fo was Alice Johnson .She was in jail for cocaine trafficking. And spent 22 years in jail for a 1st time non-violent offense . (you will recall that it was Clueless Joe who sponsored tough mandatory sentencing while he was a Senator)

She wrote a book about her journey .

Alice Marie Johnson went through the fire during her nearly 22 years of incarceration. She will step down from her foundation because Trump appointed her as pardon czar . In her role she will make pardon and clemency recommendations to him.
