Trump teased at Charlie Kirks funeral that his administration will make a major announcement about a cure for autism ;while hinting that he will blame some cases on mothers taking Tylenol during pregnancy.

I'll have to wait . I suspect he is speaking of Leucovorin (folinic acid) .It has been used successfully in off label treatment(not approved by the FDA) for a subset of Autism patients with cerebral folate deficiency (CFD) .

Preliminary research suggests it can improve speech, social communication, and other behaviors .

I was right in my speculation. Kennedy Jr's team (Dr Oz Jay Bhattacharya, and Marty Makary) wanted to tout leucovorin as a breakthrough treatment .
Bu JFK Jr met with Kenvue ; the makers of Tylenol ,and decided to go with the risk warning instead .

Studies since before 2019 have linked taking of acetaminophen (APAP) ;the active in Tylenol with autism and ADHD risks in children who's mothers used the product as a pain and fever reducer .

Conclusions and Relevance Cord biomarkers of fetal exposure to acetaminophen were associated with significantly increased risk of childhood ADHD and ASD in a dose-response fashion. Our findings support previous studies regarding the association between prenatal and perinatal acetaminophen exposure and childhood neurodevelopmental risk and warrant additional investigations.

Kennedy made the call and Trump went along because he knows no better .

Kennedy's track record is spotty on all medicines . As mentioned before ;his place if anywhere in the administration ;should've been restricted to general health and food ingredients .

HHS has not published their conclusions . But Kenvue is taking a financial hit since the announcement anyway . As you recall ;Before Kenvue spun off from J&J ,there was another scandal with Tylenol because it was sabotaged when someone added cyanide to the ingredients during manufacturing.

I'll wait to see how this plays out . I honestly don't know of a safer pain relief medicine for pregnant women . Other anti-inflammatory drugs have their own birth defect risks ;and taking nothing for a fever could be dangerous for the baby too.

An international group of 13 scientists has released a statement calling for the health care community to carefully consider the use of acetaminophen (APAP) during pregnancy until the painkiller is thoroughly investigated for any potential impact on fetal development in the womb. Outside the United States, acetaminophen is known as paracetamol....... a growing body of research shows that “prenatal exposure to APAP might alter fetal development, which could increase the risks of some neurodevelopmental, reproductive and urogenital disorders.”

"Our findings suggest that (acetaminophen) might not be as harmless as we think," Ragnhild Eek Brandlistuen said. She led the study at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Oslo in Norway.
She and her co-authors studied 48,000 Norwegian children whose mothers answered survey questions about their medication use at weeks 17 and 30 of pregnancy, and again six months after giving birth.
Mothers filled out a follow-up questionnaire about their child's developmental milestones three years later.
Close to 4 percent of women took Tylenol for at least 28 days total during pregnancy.
Their children seemed to have poorer motor skills than kids whose mothers had taken the drug fewer times or not at all. Tylenol-exposed kids also tended to start walking later, have poorer communication and language skills and more behavior problems.
