Apparently there are over another 40,000 new laws that went into effect in America.
Kay so I just saw this video about the new laws that have come into effect in the united states at the beginning of 2010.
It's not a super long video, but I hope you watch it, because I'm curious as to the responses and information that I could get from other people on this, considering it's not very detailed. I'm not expecting every law to come up, but I'd like to understand the basics of it.

So, Can I get your feedback?

    Here's the link.

    Watch your T's
Transfats ,texting ,tobacco ,and tanning are the new taboo. Most of these have fines attached to them because the states need more $ ;not more inmates.

NY State only passed 12 additional laws ,mostly dealing with identity protection and pension reform (I'm beginning to like David Patterson) .

California passed 724 . Arnold the dictator proposed hundreds more.

270 new laws in Illinois .Useful laws like... American flags flown at public buildings must be made in America... or bowling alleys must post warnings that their floors are slippery.

We've got 39 new ones. I'm thinking about opening a private club just so my friends can stop by for a beer and a smoke.

I am also wondering about new laws, especially ones related to my last question. It was said that Jan. 10th 2010, new passport laws would become in EFFECT... no felon can get one, this coming from friends who took their trip to the Bahamas early because of some new laws? Any one have any idea? I intend on asking them more detailed questions next time we see each other but until then... ANYTHING? Thanks!

I agree with the T's. For the most part, it helps keeps people healthier and safer.
Secondhand smoke can have bad effects on people. Texting and driving is awful, transfats, well, you guys get the idea.

I would say good luck to the Eagles... but... they are the only team in the NFC East that has never won a Super Bowl... and I see no reason why I would want that now .:D:D:D:D:D

Each State sets it's own rules. Evidently in Pa. you could probably play slot machines ,but until this year tables for poker /black jack /etc were not permitted. Guys like spitvenom needed to cross state lines into NJ to play. The money was still being spent by Pennsylvanians ;but Pa. was not getting the tax revenue .
