    It can't be stopped. Kids going to college to learn a field should be just thrilled to learn that by the time they graduate ;they won't be needed in the field .

    This is how technological advance happens . But in the past it was a process that took years and was human directed . We are going see instantaneous advances made by computers . The wave is coming and no government inventing regulations will prevent it from coming ashore .

    I suspect the real reason is everyone got to see what AI can do with all the AI generated ads aired during the Super Bowl .They were panned .
