    Is this theft by deception?
    My sister had me to put money from our mom's death in her bank account and she gambled it away this was in 2007 we live in Louisville Ky.

    Even if it was, the Statute of Limitations has run out, so you CAN'T sue her, and she CAN'T be arrested. Why did you wait so long?

    The SOL aside, what was the agreement regarding this? Why did you agree to put it in her account?

    What was the deception? She said the money was for one thing and she used it for another? She didn't say what it was for? Was it her money, your money, something else?

    I see no deception in what little info you provided, If I talked you into putting the money into my account, then I was free to use it and spend it.

    Whose money was it, was it partly hers? Was it from life insurance ? Why did you not put it in your own bank account ?
