    Theft 500
    What is the definition of theft 500 and is it a felony charge or misdimeander?

    I believe that means theft, under $500?

    Anything under $500 is not a felony where I live, over $500 is a felony.

    Hope that is what you wanted?

    If you are trying to get an idea of charges you have to factor in your state, your age, if it is your first offense. I also would narrow down the theft -was it shoplifting, out of somebody's house,
