Salary deposited after termination of service agreement
A year ago I lost my job and remained unemplyed for some time ,during the period of my unemployment my full salary was being deposited into my account unawarely.although I knew I had to advise and notify my past employer of this fact,it was out of the circumstances that prevailed that I decided not and I used the money to look for alternative employment.by th time my previous employer noticed and contacted me I had found a new job and I never denied anything and asked my previous employer being a bank if I can arrange with them to pay back the amount in monthly installments.the bank agreed and they said they would draw up a proposal of the monthly installment which I would than have to commit to.I agreed the problem now is that the bank is claiming such a huge amount of my salary that it will be impossible for me to meet any other of my financial commitments.I had followed procedure when my contract was termianated and had accepted that I will no longer be having an in,come because of the banks negligence I was tempted and now I am in this situation.now I am not refusing to reimburse the bank all I want to know is if there is any thing I can do to get the bank to reconsider and to amend their proposed agreement so that I pay a lesser installment each month

Please advise urgently as if I do not sign or respond to the proposal the bank will institute legal action against me.

Make a counter offer and pray. They could, and may still, just take you to court and get a judgement for more than they are asking for right now.

    Hello p:

Ever hear of the "Sword of Damoclese"? It's where somebody has control over somebody else's life. You're in the same situation... You have NO bargaining power.. If they DON'T agree, they'll simply call the COPS and the courts will FORCE you to pay restitution after you get out of PRISON.

You don't know how EXTREMELY lucky you are to have your victim WILLINGLY accept payback WITHOUT calling the cops... especially since your victim is a BANK!! Then you want an even BIGGER break... DON'T look a gift horse in the mouth...
