I just want to say that what the Ontario government tried to do with her when she was released was despicable in my opinion.

Karla is a very sick and evil woman for what she did.

And she should have gone away for her entire life.

However, she was made a plea bargain to put Paul in jail.

She served her ENTIRE sentence, never once getting parole.

Therefore, like it or not, she served her time and should be free.

Don't get me wrong, I don't trust the woman, but if we cannot honour pleas agreements, then what incentives are there for anyone to ever accept one from the government again?

I agree... After Pauls lawyer gave up those tapes they should have found a new way to charge her without breaking the plea bargain... LIke as in the case with the Jane Doe... She was never mentioned in the plea bargain so maybe there would be a chance they could charge her with it and keep her in tehre longer. She does not deserve to live a new identity after what she did.
