The judge changed my sons public defender three times, is this misrepresentation?
My son is 25 and is being charged with a sex crime. He;s admitted to his crime. however, the d.a. wants him to plead guilty to two felony counts in which he's not guilty. Or take it to trial

What do the plea bargaining details have to do with the fact that his PD has been repeatedly changed? I am sure there may be a connection, but if you want help you need to give us more to go on.

Why was his attorney replaced three times? It could be that your son is insisting on some defense strategy with which no sensible attorney can agree, but that's just a guess.

    Hello y:

In order to give you GOOD advice, we need to know the whole story...

So what if the judge changed his PD? Is the one he has now a GOOD one?? Did the change BENEFIT your son, or did it damage him? Were the PD's ALL from the same office?? Do you want ANOTHER lawyer??

I need to know what you WANT in order to help you get it.

And often at many of the early hearings, in large cities esp, you will get a different Public defender showing up at varoius hearings. Did any of the PD ask to be released from the case ? Why was the change made ? Did your son ask for a different one ?
