How can I tell if the offence was treated summarily or by indictment?
I was charged with theft under $5000 15 years ago. I need to show US Border/customs that the offence was treated summarily or else they will make me get the US travel waiver. Will the police records or RCMP database show how the offence was treated? Or will those only show the actual charge (theft under 5K) and what the result was ($$$fine)? Thanks for the help!
