    Hello a:

I've had it reinstated... But, I didn't commit a felony when I violated. Therefore, I seriously doubt your probation will be reinstated.

Being on probation and committing a felony is definitely not going to get your probation reinstated once you are violated. Maybe something minor, but not another felony.

    Hello a:

Of course, your PO will violate you. Maybe, just maybe if you were late for a meeting, they MIGHT not violate you... But for a NEW CASE?? Dude!

You'll finish the case in the other county, then you'll have to answer to the first county. I don't know WHAT the new crime was... If it was just possession of some pot, you may not do much time. But, if it was for another serious crime, you could do ALL your sentence in jail.

Depending on where you are, I think it is up to the PO.

The severity of the new case may be a factor in the decision and your overall progress on the current probation may be too.

My knowledge (which is not great) is they arrest you and make you spend a night or two in jail to get your attention.

    Hello a:

I read your other question. Please keep them ALL on one thread..

You haven't violated, unless and until, you are convicted on the other case - that is unless you DON'T tell her, because that is a violation in and of, itself.

Once you're convicted, if you are, and after you're DONE with jail time there, you'll be transferred back to the original county and you'll wait in jail for your violation hearing.

    Hello again, a:

Yes, you should tell your PO because if he DOESN'T know about now, he WILL find out about it. No, the other county won't know you're on probation, but it won't make any difference to them.

    Hello again, a:

From the very second you're busted, until the very second you TELL her, you're in violation. If she finds out BEFORE you tell her, you'll have THAT charge to deal with too. I don't know what you're waiting for.

I'm no expert at all, but from what I've seen in life, when you get arrested, you spend a day or two in jail, and you can be bailed out (depending on the crime you commited). When you are released from jail, you usually have to go to court and you will be either found innocent or guilty (usually the jury decides on this). If you are found guilty you will probably be sentenced to either prison time, or community service, or a mix of both. You may or may not be sent to do time right away.
