Can you get bonded in the state of Michigan if you have been convicted of a felony?9yrs. Ago my daughter was convicted for embezzeling, she was 21 at the time, she now works for an insurance co. and they want her to be bonded.

The only way to know is to apply. If she uses an insurance agency which writes for more than one company they have the ability to chose which company will take her, which company is the best "fit."

Is the company aware of her felony? In most cases the company bonds all employees through the same insurance/bonding company to make certain the limits, language, job description, are all the same.
