    How do I find someone who is on parole or probation and why they are on it

    You need to know which county they were sentenced in. You can go online if the county clerk's office has a web site and access the record of the person. It will tell you what the crime was and how long the sentence and/or probation is. If the clerk's office has no web site you may call up the clerk's office criminal division and they will give you the info over the phone. It is all public information - free of charge.
