    Fbi background checks
    I want to know what a fbi fingerprint background check includes. I have a pending charge that's about 5 years old now. Misdeamenor possession.

    They will see it. What exactly do you mean when you say pending? Were you never prosecuted?

    It's in a different state from where I live. There's probably a warrant but no conviction

    Hello richard:

    I don't think it will show up on your background check. However, the FBI will be alerted. So, it wouldn't surprise me if THEY showed up.

    If the State that "probably" issued the warrant is part of the Federal system, yes, the warrant will show up - obviously no conviction because there is no conviction!

    As Excon said, this will also save a lot of footwork on the part of the FBI - !
