Can a felon on probation enter into st maarten island?
I am hoping to visit st maaten island. I have a felony drug conviction and am on probation. I am going without my kids for a vacation with the boyfriend but do not want to become some horror story with customs and have heard about going to other countries can end up bad. Does anyone have any information on this? How lax are they and should I be worried?

Anyone on probation wanting to go anywhere has to ask his or her PO.
Then, if you have permission, and it's just as a tourist, you go and take your chances if arrested. Does your boyfriend have any convictions? St. Maarten is half Dutch, and with Amsterdam being such a drug hub, I don't know what they might be suspicious of or detain you for. But that's IF you get arrested.
