Can I change my bail conditions if I go speak to the crown?
I was charged with theft under 5000 with my fiancé, and others. My fiancé and I were not the ones stealing but was charged too. Plus no one ever left the store with ANY MERCH. My bail conditions were not have any contact with everyone that I was with. My fiancé and I have been livivg together for 6 years and no are not allowed to have any contact with him. It's really making matter really difficult on us. We were caught together in the same car and were charged with breech. A cop had told me while I was in jail that I could have spoke to the crown of attorney and had those conditions revoked. Can I still try to talk to someone to change the conditions? It is really screwing up my life,I have to be assured by my mother in a different city now. I need to go back and pay rent so I can finish going to college there. The charges were in Milton so would I have to go back there and ask? Please help me doc.lol

    Hello h:

You can ask them. I'd get a lawyer to do it, though. He'll know how to get it. You won't.

True, true. I can't afford a lawyer I need legal aid and the trail has not began yet. It starts on may 5. I spoke with leagal aid and they said that I have to get a screening form first before he could represent me. Should I just wait till court? Who would I ask?
