They can... but if they actually do depends on the charges and if its worth the cost for them to do it.

Can they, yes of course warrants are shown nationally on a data base. It will also effect your ability to get jobs if they do background checks ( since you are now a warranted person) It can effect your ability to get a new drivers license. ( possible to be arrested) and more.
It can even effect being able to open a new bank account.

Also the police can detain you while they run a check to see if the other state is ready to pay for your return, And guess what they can do that over and over and over, anytime you are stopped.

If you live in a nearby state, they are more likely to come get you, than if you move across country.

They are only shown if they do a nation wide check which isn't always done if they don't have a reason FYI... GET YOUR LICENSE AND PLATES switched over to that state and nothing will tie you with the other state

Yes please do that, LOL. This is not how it works, if stopped and the police run a criminal wants or warrants, almost every department merely runs the national system. It is often called different names, in GA it is called GCIC but it still runs the national NCIC system.

You have an open warrant and you're working in home health care in Missouri? Interesting.

I guess they hire anyone in Missouri, serial killers, mass murderers, sex offenders, drug dealers if they never run a national check.. they don't know who they are getting.

Absolutely frightening - I've worked cases in NY involving home health care as well as nursing home care. Backgrounds checks ARE run - and you'd still be amazed who gets hired.

I'm more "offended" (if that is the word) that someone who beat the system would brag about it than I am by the person who beat the system.

Of course, background checks are only as good as the people who run them so it's a crap shoot, anyway.

A warrant can be issued for anything some small cases and some large cases I am not bragging on my job and no mo. Does not hire anyone I have not committed a murder nor do I deal with drugs it seemed very prejudice and offenses no complete fax before giving your opinion my warrant is for questioning no crime at all so why wouldn't they hire me when getting a job they are looking for anything that has to do with the job so if I wanted just to answer some questions about a dumb necklace that two family members are fusing over then I don't know what to tell you

A warrant is a warrant... YOU are responsible for providing us with the facts... if you haven't then its your responsibility for not doing so

And an open warrant will get you arrested... it also makes you a fugitive since you know you have it and haven't answered to it.

That alone disqualifies you for a vast number of jobs. They don't issue a warrant for your arrest to question you. They issue a warrant because they have enough evidence to convince a court you might have committed an offence that can result in jail time.

If you show disrespect ro the Court (whether or not it's over some "dumb" necklace) I don't want you near any of my family members.

If the Court didn't think it was important they wouldn't issue a Warrant. They'd just let you slide.

Your attitude comes across loud and clear.

It is a issue that any agency that works in the medical field has to be licensed. If they take money from Medicare or Medicaid, they also have to be certified by one of the accreditation companies.

The firm you work for can lose their license for having someone with any felony conviction or anyone with any outstanding warrants working there.
It is a simple issue of the law, which of course you show no respect for, or you would merely clear up the warrant.

But yes, MO will easily go to IL and get someone, since they are on the same border.
