I am trying to become a licensed Foster Parent in Texas
After undergoing a fingerprint analysis, to be approved as a licensed Foster Parent in the state of Texas, it came back Criminal Intent in the state of Pennsylvania. Upon trying to obtain a copy of my record to explain that it was nothing to do with bodily harm however all records were destroyed and neither the police department, court system nor state police are able to locate any details.

Any suggestions of what I can do to still become licensed?

Normally there will be records, you may have to hire an attorney and go though the courts to try and force them to give the information. Depending on the years, the police records would be most likely filed away and require some effort in finding.

But often it is the actual charge, if you have certain crimes showing up you will be disqualified.

Beyond hiring an attorney to try and work this out, I don't know what else to do
