    Court credit card debt
    I'm being sued for credit card debt, I don't work,what will happen in court

    If you don't show up the cc company will get a default judgement which will give them the right to attach your bank accounts or in some states put a lien on your property. Now with that being said if you have nothing, no income .bank accounts or property then you may be what is called judgement proof which means if there's nothing there then they can't get it But remember just because you can't pay it doesn't mean the collectors can't hound you with calls and letters and if you ever go to work or have any property then its theirs for the taking
