    Problems Making Button Holes for a Vest
    My sewing machine can't handle the fine fabric that I am using to make a vest. I need an alternative method for making button holes.

    Can you do some reinforcing/facing tape behind it to give it more body?

    I do note, that you already received a response from NOhelp4u and I do agree that reinforcing the fabric in some way might help to to make the button holes.
