    I have done needle work for years. I don't know that there is a best needlepoint kit. It all depends on the picture you want. I have not had a problem with any of them. Cross stitch is a bit different. The kits are all good, but you can get your own pattern and buy your own fabric to put it on. There are some beautiful linens to use and quite a difference in price. Michael's has some great kits. If you find a specialty yarn and needlework shop you will find some unique and beautiful kits. Have fun
