Milk went sour today - cooked with it last night - bad?
My DH called from work to tell me he felt like he had the flu, and that he had been up several time in the night with bowel trouble. He asked if I used milk in last nights dinner, which I did use about 3/4 cup. He said that the milk was sour this morning when he went to put it in coffee, but it smelled fine last night. Now I am having some bowel trouble. Could it be from the milk? I always do the sniff check before I use milk, and I swear it was fine!

Sadly if the milk was on the turn it will have separated in your cooking and you would have noticed it or you would most definitely have noticed a sharp tang to the food.

Thanks for the info. The milk did NOT separate, and I think it had to be something else, as he never vomited and had a bit of temp.
