    vent the attic?
Any advice or tips on insulating our "Bunker" We are renovating a 1981 concrete and steel house built in to the earth on two sides. The roof is concrete and supported by 24 by 9 galvanized bridge I beams space every 4 feet O/C. The Q deck is mostly gone from 30 years of unrestricted (vented) Florida high humidity. There is no insulation or vapor barrier. My thoughts are to fastnen foam panel boards directly over what is left of the Q deck and then spray every thing with a layer of uniform closed cell foam followed by open cell foam. The question is what to do from there. Will I need to vent the area between the ceiling and insulated roof? The house will have a therma wrap (Tyvek) vapor barrier block and 2 X 6 south facing exterior walls with brick veneer. This is a very exciting project but I could use your respective advice.
