 I need to put a shelf up on the concrete wall in the garage. I used a masonry bit, but I could not make to hole. (electric drill) Does anybody know what type of drill bit I need to use, size etc? Thanks:confused: :D

 I am renovating my 1930 Craftsman Bungalow (small) bathroom. The toilet drain is too far away from the original wall for a modern toilet to sit without having about a 5-6 inch gap behind it. The previous owner renovated once before and built out the wall to use a modern toilet on the old toilet... 
Cast iron DWV removal-will crack at fittings with sledge hammer?

 Was told a sledge hammer will crack 4", 2" etc cast iron DWV if struck on the joints? Also what it the best or various ways to cut into a 4" cast pipe. The long handled cutter, partner saw, other? Thanks
