Shower and Floor Tile Vapor Barriers
I have recently became interested in a Canadian Show called "Homes by Holmes" (Mike Holmes). This guy is fantastic and I believe in the same leaque a Tom Silva (This Old House). Mike uses vapor barriers I have not seen used in the US. He uses an orange colored vapor barrier in the shower (shower pan, wall and ceiling) and always a barrier on the floor when laying tile called Ditra. I am planning on renovating my shower bath and would like more information on this. Does anyone know the name of the shower barrier and has anyone used this material in their construction with good results. Howard
