    Self Driving Screws
There is a small screw the cable guy uses in the stucco
To secure the cable. It is not a tapcon. Maybe itís a self-drilling screw. Do you still need to start a pilot hole?

Doesn't matter as a pilot hole just makes it easier to drive a screw. Some people don't need the extra step, and some don't have a drill or bit in the first place.
