HELP!!

The flat above has some new tenants, they have a shower at 5.30am - it wakes me up every week day. Walking around like a zombie!

What sound proofing options are available?

I live in the Victorian converted property. The conversation was done in 1970.
I am on the first floor.
There was an ensuite in my bedroom, which was converted into a dressing room, but the flat upstairs still has it as an ensuite and when they have a shower I hear the water running - constant pressure noise. Also as the pipes warm up a bit of ticking.
It sounds like the water is running up through the walk in my dressing room.
This is also an outside wall.

Any tips would be v.v.v gratefully received.

Do you both own or are both of you renters?

I own and have live there for 7 years.
They rent - they have just signed a 6 month contract and are the first people to use the shower room - most have used the main bathroom in the flat. And yes I did ask if they would use that instead but they don't see why they should - hence problem!

There are four floors in our converted house - a flat on each. They are on the top floor, I am on the first floor.
The owners are equal members of a management company - so I can talk to the owners of the flat above when I understand the options.
