    How many bags of ready mix concrete to make 1 1/2 yards of concrete?

    It's 54, 60lbs bags

    And 40.5 80lbs bags.

    It might be cheaper to mix the concrete from scratch. Let me know and maybe I can save you some money.

    If you need 1.5 yds to place your concrete you will actually need more. It never works out as the premix bags say especially because of slump etc.

    Hear is a guide for you to know if you are putting too much water in the concrete. It's a homemade slump test similar to what used to site test with real slump cones on our commercial jobs.
