    Going rate for shingling and tear off
    Hi I am in suburbs of chicago and I was wondering what the going rate for tearing off a roof and reshingling it was thank you

    Can't tell you about your area,
    Where I am at, you will pay about 35 to 45 dollars a Square ( 100 sq feet) for applying the shingles and about the same for ripping them off.

    ** this does not include the cost of hauling the shingles off, or the cost of the new shingles.

    ** this is based on what I paid over the last few years on my own property, hiring the labor direct not though a contractor
