Bifold doors for 9 foot opening
I am toying with the idea of installing bifold doors in an opening that presently has sliding doors. The problem is that the width of the opening is 9 feet. Four 27" doors won't work because they'll protude too far into the room when closed. Is there hardware available to hang 6 doors, 3 on each side. It seems I've done this a long time ago but my memory fails me on how I did it or what kind of hardware I used. I would appreciate any ideas. Thank you.

I assume this is a cupboard? It would be easiest to put a divider up somewhere along the 9' span. Is there any spot where it would make sense to do that? (i.e. where it would line up with the edge of shelving that you may have inside)

Then you can divide the opening into and two pair of bifolds that add to 9' (less the width of the divider)

When you set the hinges on a set of three doors one set goes in normally and the otherset is reversed so the door folds like an accoridan. You may have trouble finding a track this long so think about two 4.5' tracks butting in the center.
