    Spell check on word 2007
    Hello,

    For the last couple of days, my spell check in word 2007 has not been working, it gives me the message ( spell check complete) although there are still spelling mistakes.

    I have tried repair for Microsoft ,and tried remove and reinstall still not working

    Please help

    Try this, remember what was done in case it does not work and you have to change back what you had changed



    Start Regedit and go to the following key:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Shared Tools\Proofing
    Tools\1.0\Override\en-US

    I had 2 entries (DLL and LEX) pointing to non-existing files.

    Rename these to oldDLL and oldLEX.
