    Slow Computer
    My computer is about five years old and it is extremely slow. I would like to remove some of the unnecessary programs but I am not sure what is important to keep and what I can get rid of? I don't want to screw up the operating system.

    Seriously best course of action would be a back up and complete rebuild from scratch.

    Without knowing the actual specs of your machine, it's difficult to give specific advice.
