    I need to transfer some pictures to my computer and it says the file name is too long
    I need to transfer some pictures to my computer and it says the file name is too long? I don't know what to do. Help?

    P.S I also chargedmy phone threw a USB cord on the computer for lke 2 weeks, this was bad?

    You could try renaming the files to something shorter. That usually works for me. Why did I say usually, it ALWAYS works for me.

    As for the long term charge... you likely took a little life off the battery, you really don't want to be consistently overcharging it..

    Tried to import SD card on computer, says "File Name Too Long?"
    I have a Android and have tranfer pictures to my E Computer and only gets to96 and says " File name too long" I don't know what this means, I looked around and it said to talk to LG and they didn't really help. It its helpful I charged myphone by USB cord for two weeks, I not sure if its bad or not..

    What operating system is your computer running? Did you rename the pictures to something much shorter? How many characters ARE in the names of the pictures?

    Not one valid answer. How can I change the file names in the camera and why did it start telling me this recently and not before on the same operating system. The only thing that changed was the automatic updates to my Windows 7 professional laptop from Microsoft.
