    SD card reader
    I have a Compaq Presario CQ50 laptop, I have an SD card with 120 photos on it when I put it into my card reader on my laptop I have to search to find it and when I do the file is coming up as nothing in this file. Is my card reader on my computer playing up and how do I find out if its working properly and how do I fix the problem? Have tried 4 different SD cards.

    What size is the SD card?

    There are two types of SD cards. Those equal to or larger than 4GB are not compatible with all SD card readers. The card reader must be identified as SDHC compatible. If you card is 4GB or higher, and the reader is not SDHC compatible, then it will not read the card.

    All SDHC card readers can work with SD but no SD card reader can read SDHC.
