Dell will not recognize ethernet connection
Dell optiplex 170L will not recognize the ethernet connection. It claims
Is not connected to any internet. I know the connection works because
There was a windows 2000 there before it was replaced by dell xp.
This my work computer in a net work. When connection was checked
At our main office I was told there was nothing connected in my
Location. The connection on my computer said the reason was
Because it was never given a IP address. According to my computer
In the control panel it is showing it has one. Is there something that
Needs to be done to the computer that would block out the Ip? Can sure the help on this. Thanks again
