    How do I?
I have an olde compaq computer running windows 98. There are some files I'd like to move from this computer to my new computer its also a compaq running windows xp.I tried using a portable memory stick but the 98 sys doesn't have the driver for it . The computer doesn't have a cd burner in it. I have a external cd burner but now it won't find the driver for that either. Any ideas?

What is the make and model of the external CD Burner? Usually Windows 98 will not have drivers for these devices and you need to find the drivers elsewhere (usually the manufacturer will still have them available on their website).

Just type in top Google... "drivers for (add your cd burner model number)"
You will be given sites to downlaod the drivers.
