    Computer crashes after installing drivers.
My computer crashes when ever I try to play games after installing a vga driver disc plus all its components plus the utilities on the disc that came with the motherboard. I think the reason is a virtual video capture device that keeps trying to install whenever I turn on the computer. Plus it also installed something on my 8800gts and now I can't play games!!
And yes I tried to uninstall the drivers but I couldn't find half of them and the ones I uninstalled wouldn't do anything.

No Games? Very sucky, did you go to computer or vid card website for latest and greatest drivers? This is where I would start if you haven't already. Stuff on your old disk may have been superseded with windows patches and unseen hardware upgrades with use. Try removing virtual video capture from start-up also.

    Good luck
