    Runtime error message
    Hi all,
I keep getting this message whenever I start up xp: C:\Program Files\OLYMPUS\OLYMPUS MASTER 2\Monitor.exe" "This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team for more information"
Does this mean there is a virus of some sort because I am unable to use the Olympus software. Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Richard.

Have you tried uninstalling the Olympus Software, running a virus scan and defragmenting the hard drive, then reinstalling the Olympus Software?

    Fatal error message-during uninstall
Further to Modular's advice on my previous post I have tried to uninstall the Olympus software and each time I get the message "Fatal error during installation" and I cannot continue past that point. Any ideas please.

Boot the System in Safe Mode and go to start button and click on run and type as msconfig and go to startup tab options and remove the check mark on the your software list then click apply and OK then restart the system... I Think it will Slove... Please Try and See OK byeeeeeee
