Have been on this computer for hours reading how to delete this problem I have. Have done everything that I was told too ,done the smithfraud thing and still No Hope is in sight.. Does anyone at all know the answer to this problem and what I can do. Don't have a credit card to do the downloading of the other websites.. Please Just need some HELP.. Thanks... :(

Security Toolbar 7.1 is a Spyware program coming from a trojan called Trojan.Zlob. You may like to try and go to "Add and Remove Programs" in Control Panel. I also recommend downloading AVG Antivirus, Spybot Search and Destroy 1.5, McAfee Site Advisor (Firefox), and McAfee Site Advisor (Internet Explorer).

Using Internet Explorer, go to:

Symantec Security Check

Click the GO button, then under Virus Detection, click Start. You might be told that you need to download and install ActiveX Controls for the scan to work, answer Yes.

Write down exactly anything it finds, then go to: http://www.symantec.com/search/ and do a search for what was found. Symantec usually has a removal tool and/or directions for removing manually. Make sure that you follow the instructions for removal, step by step, especially the part regarding disabling System Restore.
