    Search settings 1.2
I get dialog boxes telling me to install this application. I can't remove it and it keeps on popping up. What's with this? Is it Malware, a virus? Or should I allow it to download. Please advise! Thanks guys, Tom

See *this* is a good time to ask, *before* you click "Yes". If only more people did that.
It is malware. Try Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Hmmmm... it's possible that it may not be malware but a failed installation:
Description of the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

In that link there is a download for an installer cleanup program. Run that then reboot and try a Windows Update.

It's Malware. Complaints are coming in from all over the internet. It will not delete from add-or- delete programs. Any ideas? Cheers, Tom
I removed it from my system by restoring my computer back two weeks. All gone now! Thanks Karma,
