    Restart Message
    I loaded a program (a wireless mouse) and shut down the computer with out restarting. Now every time I start it up I get a message asking me if I want to restart to complete the update yes or no. If I restart I just get the same message no matter how many times I restart so I click "no" and the computer continues to load normaly. How can I stop this message from appearing during start up? The program I uploaded works fine.

    OK here's a thought.
    Rather than clicking "no" click "yes" and allow the install to complete.

    Plug in your old mouse and then try uninstalling the wireless mouse drivers and software. Then, start over from the beginning and reinstall the drivers/software. When it asks you to restart your computer after the install is complete, select yes. The way that you originally did everything should have worked, and regardless if you restart, or shut down after the installation, you shouldn't get that message anymore after your computer boots back up. But, sometimes driver/software installation gets messed up and produces annoyances such as the one you're having. You said that you shut down your computer without restarting. Do you mean that you just turned the power off without doing an actual shut down? If that is the case, then the info that installation process places in the registry is probably more or less "stuck", which is normally "cleaned up" during a reboot or shut down (the proper way) after the installation is complete, possibly (I'm honestly taking a guess at that)? Try my idea and let us know if it works or not.
