Am not sure what you mean, but whenever I have pst problems, I scan it using Microsoft pst scanning tool normally installed automatically with office..

    C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office12\scanpst.exe
    C:\Program Files(x86)\Microsoft Office\Office12\scanpst.exe

Make sure you close outlook before you scan the pst files...

    Cheers

This may not be relevant but can be a situation encountered. Recent Windows operating systems will show actual file size and size on disk. The size on disk can change between computers depending on the cluster size chosen when the disks were formatted. This discrepancy is of no concern. More importantly, the actual size should be equal if the copy or move process did not corrupt the file.

Thanks for the info.. I moved a large amount of mail from my old archive to a new archive(.pst files). But still, the old archive(.pst file in outlook 2007)files size showing the previous one.But using outlook 2007,when I see the properties of .pst files and see folder size,it is showing the correct size. But in the drive where the .pst is located, there it is showing very big size. How can I see the actual size here?

CD-R I can't reopen any files saved on it. [ 3 Answers ]

I saved a ton of jpegs on a CD-R and I'm unable to access any of the files on the disc. I've been able to get to the files in the past, but some reason, now I can't. I've tried 3 different computers, even a Mac. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
